‘Hit & Run’ Takes It’s Turn For Revenge (TRAILER)

It seems like the revenge action thriller is really starting to become it's own genre.  Clearly we love watching someone with a "particular set of skills" trying to avenge the death or capture of someone that they care about.  Throw in a couple of twists, and you have the new Hit & Run series from Netflix.  Take a look at the first trailer.

The synopsis kind of speaks for itself:  "In this new action thriller, a happily married man’s life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a mysterious hit and run accident in Tel Aviv. Grief-stricken and confused, he searches for his wife’s killers, who have fled to the U.S.  With the help of an ex-lover, he uncovers disturbing truths about his beloved wife and the secrets she kept from him."

What's she's hiding is still a mystery, but the intense action certainly isn't.  It's very possible that this is your introduction to Lior Raz.  You might have seen him as a series regular on another Netflix series, Fauda which he also co-created.  The Israeli born actor also appeared in the Ryan Reynolds led Netflix movie, 6 Underground.

He will be joined in the cast by Sanaa Lathan, Kaelen Ohm , Moran Rosenblatt, Gal Toren, Lior Ashkenazi and Gregg Henry.  Raz will also serve as executive producer of this series along with Avi Issacharoff, Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin.  Another interesting quirk is that the series will have nine, hourlong episodes.  We're used to eight or ten, so that certainly stood out to me when I was first learning about the series.

The hunt is one when Hit & Run premieres August 6th, exclusively on Netflix.  Be sure to go to www.netflix.com/HitandRun to add it to your list.
