It seems like we have been talking about a new Ghostbusters movie since the last one. A mysterious picture of ECTO-1 and an announcement by Jason Reitman later, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife was born. We haven’t gotten a lot of information since then, but that changes now. Here is the first trailer:
As you can see, there is much more of a youth movement this time around. There also seem to be some family ties to the original. This trailer also shows me that Paul Rudd was indeed a perfect choice for this revival. I will have more thoughts on Episode 295 of the podcast.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be in theaters on July 10, 2020.
