Frank Grillo Is Stuck In A Deadly Time Loop In Hulu’s ‘Boss Level’ (TRAILER)

Imagine if, in Groundhog Day, Bill Murray was constantly having to dodge deadly assassins after smashing that alarm clock every morning.  That's the life the Frank Grillo leads in the new time loop story, Boss Level from Hulu.  You will see a lot of other familiar faces in this one, too.  See for yourself in the first trailer.

Here is the official synopsis provided by Hulu:  "Roy Pulver (FRANK GRILLO) has a helluva problem: Every morning, he’s slaughtered by assassins in different ways. Sometimes he’s shot, then blown up, or beheaded, or stabbed — then that days starts anew, on and on, for reasons he can’t figure out. A former Delta Force member, Roy needs to figure out why he’s stuck in this repeating loop in time and space, how he can save his ex-wife (NAOMI WATTS) and 11-year-old son, and what an evil military scientist named Ventor (MEL GIBSON) wants with something called “The Osiris Spindle.” By setting things right, Roy can become the best version of himself – if he can save himself from being killed again."

There's a couple of names that should jump out at you.  When you watched the trailer, you probably saw Mel Gibson (Col. Clive Ventor) and Naomi Watts (Jemma Wells).  Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek Discovery), Ken Jeong (The Hangover) and  Annabelle Wallis (The Loudest Voice) are also a part of the cast.  The film is directed by Joe Carnahan, who wrote the script with Eddie and Chris Borey.  Joining Carnahan as producers are Randall Emmett and George Furla.

Time loop stories can be tricky.  From the look of things, the non-stop action and occasional humor will keep us all plenty distracted and entertained.  We'll find out together when Boss Level premieres March 5th on Hulu.
