“Falcon and the Winter Soldier” Adds A Release Date & Familiar Names

Disney+ launches in November, and we already know about a lot of original programming coming to the service. Marvel Studios will be a big part of that. We did not have any specific information until now.

According to Deadline, the series will begin airing in August of 2020 as a six episode miniseries. The show will be directed by Kari Skogland, who has worked on The Handmaiden's Tale, NOS4A2 and other shows. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will reprise their title roles, but the report also suggests that Emily Van Camp will return as Sharon Carter and Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo. This will occur after (Endgame Spoiler) Falcon accepts the Captain America shield from Steve Rogers. No word on whether or not that will play a factor in the series.

How much are you looking forward to this upcoming miniseries?
