The Last of Us Part II arrives February 21, 2020 but that’s not the only good news for fans of the game. Dark Horse has announced that they will release an Ellie statue as part of their Dark Horse Direct line. Here’s a closer look:
This appears to catch Ellie in the middle of battle with bow in hand. From the looks of the trailers, she will be going through quite a bit in this new story. According to the press release from Dark Horse, the statue stands 12″ tall and featuring Ellie with her bow at the ready, this stunning statue was sculpted by the artists at Naughty Dog and painted by Gentle Giant Studios. This meticulously detailed statue is made of polyresin and features a round terrain base with The Last of Us logo relief.
This will set you back $179.99…or will it? If you go to the Dark Horse Direct site to pre-order, the item is listed as sold out. If it sold out that quickly, I suspect that they will make more available. The release date is not until the Summer of 2020, so we will keep you posted on any updates.
