I remember how bummed I was when Harrow County ended. Cullen Bunn and Tyler Crook crafted Emmy’s story well, and ended it properly, I just hated to see it go. Now, Dark Horse Comics is taking us back with an all new story.
In Tales From Harrow County: Death’s Choir, ten years have passed since Emmy exited Harrow County, leaving her close friend Bernice as steward of the supernatural home. World War II is in full swing, taking Harrow’s young men and leaving the community more vulnerable than ever—and when a ghostly choir heralds the resurrection of the dead, Bernice must find a solution before the town is overrun. You can see by the cover, Bernice has grown up a bit and definitely seems a bit more fierce. We’ll have to wait and see.
Series co-creator Cullen Bunn took to social media to announce the book’s return:
Here’s today’s big comic book announcement! We’re returning to Harrow County! Check out this amazing work by @naomifranq ! So excited for the stories to come!

As you can see, the duo will be joined by illustrator Naomi Franquiz. The only bad news is, this is only a four issue limited series. Issue 1 of Tales From Harrow County: Death’s Choir will be available December 18, 2019.
