‘Cruella’ Will Include An Original Song From Florence + The Machine

UPDATE (5/20/21): See another music featurette!

Ever since the first trailer for Disney's Cruella, it was very clear that the music would be just as important as the fashion.  The classic villain does have style, but the punk scene of 1970s London simply cannot be ignored.  Now we know that Florence + The Machine will be a part of the film, performing a new song.  Here's a look at "Call Me Cruella".

"Some of the first songs I ever learned how to sing were Disney songs. And the villains often got the best numbers. So to help create and perform a song for ‘Cruella’ is the fulfillment of a long held childhood dream. I’m so grateful to Nicholas Britell and Disney for allowing me so much creative freedom, and for trusting me with Cruella’s beautiful madness," says Florence.

The multi-platinum artist will be just one of the many great bands on the soundtrack.  You can see the track list that you can expect in the image above.  This was all in collaboration with Oscar nominated composer, Nicholas Britell, who work on the original score for the film.  Both the soundtrack and the score will be available on May 21st.  That's exactly one week before Cruella will be available both in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access.
