UPDATE (3/18): Hear more of our interview with Melonie Diaz and Sarah Jeffery, from Episode 410 of our podcast, talking more about this season's new villain, the addition of Lucy Barrett and more.
The fourth season of Charmed premiered this past Friday on The CW. It covered a lot of ground and dealt with a lot of emotions. We saw that both Mel and Maggie were still dealing with the death of their sister, Macy. Before the premiere, I got a chance to ask Melonie Diaz and Sarah Jeffery about whether or not the sister are able to grieve their sister with so much going on in their lives. Here's what they had to say.
That's just a small sample of what I learned at the press roundtable that I attended. They also discussed the addition of Lucy Barrett's character as the new Charmed One. Diaz and Jeffery talked about how the character, whose name I won't repeat, brings a new energy to the show and how fun she will be. They didn't want to say much else, but I can tell you that we will learn MUCH more about her in the next episode. I also asked them about the new big bad this season, which they called a "master manipulator."
