‘Captain America 4’ Reportedly In The Works

Coming off of the finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier finale, the biggest question was whether or not the story would continue. If this report turns out to be true, we will have our answer. The Hollywood Reporter was first to announce that Captain America 4 was in the works from Marvel Studios. In addition, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman would reportedly write the script.

WARNING: Potential spoilers for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ahead.

After seeing Sam Wilson take up the shield in the finale, along with some other loose ends (like that Power Broker reveal), you had to think that this story wasn’t over. Since Marvel has yet to comment on the story, it’s hard to say. Other reports suggest that there could be both a new Cap movie and an entirely different project to continue Sam’s story in the series. We don’t know if Steve Rogers is on the moon, but we do know that Deadline had previously reported that Chris Evans was in talks to reprise his role. None of these reports really hints one way or another at what they might do. No matter what, can we get more Zemo this time please?

I don’t see why both projects couldn’t co-exist, but at the same time, I feel like bringing Evans back kind of tarnishes the happy ending that he was given in Avengers: Endgame. Given all of this info, what would you like to see?
