‘Black Panther’ Star Chadwick Boseman Dies Of Colon Cancer At 43

This was one of those headlines you see and hope that it is a cruel social media hoax. Unfortunately, this time it’s the truth and it hurts. Chadwick Boseman, star of Black Panther, has passed away at the age of 43.

The following was posted on Boseman’s official Twitter account:

Like many others, I was unaware that Chadwick Boseman had been battling colon cancer for the last four years. It’s even more amazing what Boseman was able to do while battling this terrible disease. Imagine having to film the biggest Marvel movies of all time while dealing with a long cancer battle. The courage and strength that he showed during that time cannot be put into words.

Chadwick Boseman is also known for playing legendary baseball star Jackie Robinson in 42. He also played James Brown in the biopic, Get On Up. According to his publicist, Boseman passed away at his Los Angeles home surrounded by his wife and family. My heart goes out to them during this very difficult time.

Chadwick Boseman Forever.
