‘Batwoman’ Finds Their Black Mask

Just as one hero returns to Gotham, a major villain is about to take over the rest of Season 2 of Batwoman. We knew that Black Mask was coming to the show eventually, now we know who will play him. Deadline reports that Peter Outerbridge (Suicide Squad, Nikita) has been cast in the role and we’ll see a lot of him for the rest of this season.

Roman Sionis will portray himself as Gotham’s savior in the public eye, but will become the villain that we all know behind the scenes. How this will factor into the return of Kate Kane, and how Ryan Wilder continues to grow as Batwoman remains to be seen. Did I mention that he also hates the Crows? That should make things even more interesting.

I’m curious to see how much depth this adds to the remaining episodes of Batwoman. Will this addition, and Wallis Day as Kate Kane, increase Batwoman’s struggling ratings? Here’s hoping that it does. Keep an eye out for a first look photo, which we should have for you any day now.
