There wasn't much of a presence for DC TV at WonderCon this year. No Arrowverse shows, no trailers, but that doesn't mean no news. Even though the cast was not at WonderCon, this announcement from Emily Bett Rickards shocked Olicity fans.
Felicity is leaving the show BEFORE the upcoming final season. While her leaving the show isn't a complete surprise, the timing certainly is. We have discovered a lot about Felicity this season, with the pregnancy, her creation of the Archer system and more this season. With only a few episodes left, it seems strange that she would be leaving now. At the same time, did the flash forward episode actually foreshadow this, and we just didn't think about that at the time?
Some fans are certainly happy about this news, others not so much. No matter how you have felt about Felicity over the years, this is another exit from a member of Team Arrow before the end of this season. Remember, Echo Kellum also walked away this season.
