Since we are a couple of weeks away from Comic-Con@Home, we're starting to get more info on what some of the big panels will be. If you've ever been to SDCC, you know that it's pretty common that Amazon Studios will do a large panel with multiple shows. Toss IMDb TV into that mix as well this year, and start making plans for Friday, July 23rd at 11am PT.
The panel will include showrunners Rafe Judkins (The Wheel of Time), Hideaki Anno (EVANGELION:3.0+1.01 THRICE UPON A TIME), Nico Entel (S.O.Z.), Sara Goodman (I Know What You Did Last Summer) and series stars and directors Beth Riesgraf & Noah Wyle (Leverage: Redemption). - ABOUT: The Wheel of Time is one of the most popular and enduring fantasy series of all-time, with over 90 million books sold. Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine, a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

On the U.S. side of the border a U.S. Army experiment with minipigs conducted in a military base goes wrong and the Mexican police unit pursuing Marroquin gets infected, transforming themselves into a new enhanced zombie species with special abilities. The army and this new species converge on Marroquin's hideout where battle for survival will begin.

Will this be where we finally get a first look at The Wheel of Time trailer? Let's hope so! Keep in mind that Leverage: Redemption released it's first batch of episodes today (July 9th), but there will be another batch on the way later this year. So many exciting things to talk about, and keep in mind this tends to be a bit longer than a traditional panel. I'm not sure if that will be the case this year or not.
